
Pickleball FAQ’s
When can I play Pickleball?
The Club’s Pickleball trial commenced on Sunday 15th October and will continue each Sunday until Sunday 28th January 2024.
How do I book a Pickleball session?
Bookings can be made via the online booking sheets, which can also be found under Sports > Pickleball.
How many players can be included in a booking?
Bookings can accommodate up to six players. Please note all names must be added to the booking sheet at time of booking.
How long is a Pickleball booking time slot?
Bookings can be made for one and a half hours, however if there is no one booked on the court for the following time slot, members may play for longer.
Bookings will commence from 8.00am and will finish at 5.00pm.
** Please make sure you book multiple timeslots if you want to play for longer than 30 minutes.
How far in advance can a booking be made?
Bookings sheets open eight days in advance from 8.00am.
Which court will be set up for Pickleball?
Hardcourt 7 will be set up with two Pickleball courts for members to use during the trial.
What is the dress code for Pickleball?
Members are required to follow the Club’s tennis dress guidelines when playing Pickleball.
When can I hire Pickleball equipment?
Four ‘Pickle Packs’ will be available for rent from the Fitness Centre Service Desk for one and a half hour rentals. ‘Pickle Packs’ each contain 4 x paddles, 3 x balls and detailed guide on how to play Pickleball.
The cost to rent a ‘Pickle Pack’ is $10.00.
What are the rules for Pickleball?
Rules have been outlined on the Pickleball page of the Club’s website. Guides on how to play are also included in ‘Pickle Packs’.
Can I invite guests to play Pickleball?
Members may invite guests to play Pickleball. The same guest rules apply as for Tennis, however no guest fees are being charged.
A Member can only introduce three (3) guests at a time and they must sign in to comply with the Registered Clubs Act and tick the café box so they are not charged.
